Arts and Economic Prosperity V

Throughout 2016, nonprofit arts and culture organizations across Wisconsin are collecting surveys from a variety of attendees at a broad representative sample of arts and cultural events and exhibitions.

This audience-intercept survey is the tool Americans for the Arts uses to learn about the people who participate in cultural activities, including spending related to their attendance, such as when they eat a meal before the show, or pay for parking, or spend the night away from home.

Download and duplicate the Audience Survey Form to collect surveys following the instructions.

Download the Batch Cover Sheet to send with your surveys to the Wisconsin Arts Board every quarter in 2016.

Spanish language and Large Font survey forms are available on request.

Audiences include anyone who attends, visits or participates in arts, historical, literary, science and other cultural activities.

Events include ticketed performances or exhibitions as well as activities that are free or small or sponsored by large community programs such as recreation or schools any place where people gather to enjoy culture.

Every completed survey will be analyzed.

In the following six communities with local study partners, the audience survey form will be provided by and returned directly to the local partnerDane County, Door County, Eau Claire, Greater Fox Cities, Green Bay, and La Crosse.
