Wisconsin Arts Board Creative Communities Panel Meetings

The Wisconsin Arts Board will convene three panels of experts to evaluate applications and recommend funding for organizations from around the state that have applied to the Arts Board’s Creative Communities granting program.

The Creative Communities grants program encourages arts education and community arts development in Wisconsin. It provides support for projects that further the Arts Board’s goals in the following three areas: Arts Education; Folk and Traditional Arts; and Local Arts.

The Folk and Traditional Arts panel will also include the review of applications to the Arts Board’s Folk Arts Apprenticeship program. Folk Arts Apprenticeships are designed to strengthen and preserve Wisconsin's traditional folk arts by supporting direct passage of knowledge and skills from a master artist to a talented learner.
